Hi folks,
First post here so be gentle with me :)

Does anyone know where I can buy a new digital control unit for my old generic Chinese mug press? The display has DL8000 on the front panel and the machine model is XY-003.

The timer display works fine and it heats up but the temp display is eratic and goes a bit mental with random characters etc.

Any help would be gratefully received :)

Thanks,
Rab

If you can post a pic of the machine and the timer that might also be useful.

There's a company called HeatpressUK who can often track down spare parts for presses. Might be worth giving them a shout :-)

erratic temp display could be a fault with the wiring to the heat sensor, or a problem with the sensor itself. You may be looking at resoldering wires in the plug, or replacing the blanket.

I think it may be the blanket actually as it's not heating up now and the display (when it's not jumping around) is sat at 24 degrees.
