Justin or anyone else in Admin
Is there a way of having a sticky topic of Frequently Asked Question.
Why is my black printing brown?
What is Powerdriver?
Mugs Cracking?
Which press/printer/paper should I buy?

I know the answers to these vary from equipment, supplier, printer, paper and numerous other things but could there be a quick check list for people to see before posting the usual questions.

" I bought my equipment on ebay and the mugs are coming out faint! Please help?"

This is not having ago at the people who post these questions but sometimes I feel that if there was a section for beginners to look at before posting these questions it may help.

on the "T shirt forum" site, if you start typing a new post it picks up on keywords and says " there is already a post with this on, have you read it" or words to that effect,

Am liking that Mrs Maggot. Sometimes I know the answer is here on the forum somewhere but I find the search bar a bit hit and miss so I start a new thread. If this method was on this site it may stop some of the obvious/repeated questions.

I've enabled this on the forum, might need to make a couple more changes though. It appears it can affect performance so we'll need to keep an eye on that.

OK, I've enable similar threads which appear beneath a thread once it's created, not quite what you've mentioned but I'll carry on looking at this. I won't discount the sticky faq's in each section as suggested by the OP either ;-)

perhaps this is something members could help with, start a post, let others add to it by quoting and editing it, then a bit like wikapedia, it would be a job done by all

If there's a wiki module that can be plugged into to the forum software, then this would seem a good way to go, but can everyone (inc newbies) edit, or only a select few approved known knowledegable users (or where in between)?
