Re: 7100 - using cut paper

Hi
I have a Ricoh 7100 and want to be able to print onto ready cut mug paper - I do quite a few one offs and cut paper would just be really convenient.
I am printing from PCs running Win 7 pro and XP pro
I have some TMT paper which is cut to 97 x 210
so far so good!
However, I can't get the custom paper size mlarky to work - I had expected to be able to create a custom paper size of 97 x 210, save it as one of the custom sizes that come up in the print driver and then select it as required. By a bit of trial and error I have managed to create a printing profile - the smallest it will go is 127 x 210 but thats ok because I just create a 97 x 210 box in Photohop and when I print it should just appear centered on the 127mm dimension of the paper as it appears in the print driver - which it does. However, when I come to print my image comes out rotated through 90 degrees and printing off the edge of the paper - depositing ink on the rollers in the printer or if it prints the right way round , it will be at one end of the 210mm, not centered - despite centered being selected and it 'looks right' in the print drivers layout print preview.
This is driving me nuts! I have printed a gazillion and one transfers none of them useable - either need cutting off the end of the strip and sticking onto the mug as a short transfer not a full wrap which is a pain in the backside to get the positioning spot on or - the print on the transfer is 90 degrees out.
Anyone set their printer up to do this successfully?
Arthur
