Hi guys.
I wonder if any of you have some sample photos of printable flock?
Is a mystery, as i cant find any photos any where so not sure if is any good. It cost quite a few £££ so would love to know your opinion.

I used it quite a long time ago Paul...printed well, but found it quite difficult to print and cut as the shapes we were using were very complex, so couldn't quite get enough detail in the cut. Never got around to wash testing, as we decided it wasn't for us before we got that far. No sample photos, sorry!

Thank you. I was thinking about small colorful lettering. I presume this would be to little details with some font.

Well what we were cutting was a ragged hairline on a drawn character, so was quite small detail, that I'm not sure we'd even have been able to cut on any other media!! Also, if I remember rightly (could be wrong on this), it was recommended by BMS to cut first, and then sublimate onto the flock afterward? This made it quite awkward to line up detailed images.

I have used it quite a bit. End image is okay, but due to the print surface it is dull/Matt andI have lots of problems getting the registration marks for the cutter(RoboCraft) to be recognised. Then you have the problem transfering the design to the garment, like vinyl you need to use a transfer paper or something that is head resistant. Worth a try.

I think that's probably why they recommend cutting the shape first, but then for any sort of complex shape it can be quite difficult to line it up properly with the transfer for printing.

I think Paul is on about the solvent printable flock that we put through our BN-20's..... Works fine but you have to be careful with your design and it's best to run a tak roller over it first to remove any loose flock before putting it in the solvent printer.

You boys and your fancy printers...not even talking about sublimation, clogging up my new posts feed and making me jealous!!

Not even mentioning ink costs..... Sublimation £40/42ml or £60/66ml as opposed to Eco solvent at £60.99/220ml or £85.99/440ml making sublimation ink about four times the cost of solvent ink but then solvent ink is crap at doing mugs
