Hi all, quick question.

I've got a Ricoh GX7000 printer for sublimation using SubliJetR cartridges. They're pretty expensive (£60 each for the high-cap ones) so I've been looking into options to use refillable cartridges and bulk ink.

I found a guy on ebay selling the cartridges and a chip resetter: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Refillable-in ... 3641.l6368

So that's all good, but I'm wondering about the ink. The SubliJetR cartridges use Sawgrass ink. Would this be compatible? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dye-Sublimati ... 27fd083272

Anyone used this ink/tried this approach?

TIA

Daz

That ink is liquid, Ricoh's use gel ink so wouldn't work.

I tried it was a complete disaster as far as sublimation is concerned, print qualiy is very good however but not much help if you want to sublimate, everything comes out green/yellow.

You've dragged up a 4 year old thread about an obsolete printer using inks from an ebay advert which no longer exists?
