Re: Image Layout/Nest Software

I finally found some software which appears to do exactly what I have been looking for. It's called ImageNest. You can drag and drop multiple images and it 'best fits' to your media size for you or 'nests' the images :-)

So what's the problem? It's only available on Mac! Whilst I do (reluctantly and probably not for much longer) have a Mac, I want to be able to use the software on my vastly superior PC :-)

Anyone seen anything similar that runs on Windows?

Doesn't nesting come with pretty much every RIP?

I know it used to come with Caldera and it definitely available in Roland's Versaworks, so I presumed nesting was standard on most RIPs

I saw mention of Qimage, thanks for that. Yes, I did wonder if most RIPS could nest as I knew some did. Paul, must be for PC not Mac :-)

Just installed for a quick look Karen. Looks very detailed and may do the job. I'm just working out the basics to see whether it would work :-)

Had a look at Printstation but not sure if this is more aimed at photo album creation? I can select multiple images and fit to page but it requires a grid size and the images grow/shrink accordingly...might just be me!
