Hi Everyone.

I have recently begun sublimation on mugs and all is going well so far!

However I wondered if anyone has ever printed on enamel mugs? We have the mugs shown in the link below:

Does anyone know if this is possible? Or do they have to have a coating of some sort on them? As they are metal any advice before trialling would be much appreciated!

Depending how long you want it to last you could use CPM from TMT or a pad printer.

Hi,

Ideally we would want them to last forever (or as long as possible) the same as the white double layered coated 11oz mugs that we currently make.

Enameling and bake then. CPM, Pad printing and silk screen can all rub off in time.

What about these.... http://www.sun-fly-sublimation.com/13-o ... _p310.html

as above, if you want to do sublimation enamel mugs, then best buy the ones coated specifically for that purpose, unless of course thecoating on normal enamel mugs is a polyester based product then you may be able to do it, easy way to find out though....
