Re: Problem with Glittered Vinyl Flex

I recently bought some of this and I really don't get it. It seems to have a layer of transparent plastic on either side of the glitter. One side is very thin and the other quite thick.
I am using a silhouette cameo 2 but no matter what I do I can't seem to get it to cut properly.
What am I doing wrong? Am I supposed to remove one of the sheets of plastic?
If anyone can throw any light on this I would be very grateful as I've ruined loads of it so far.

Some come with a protective film to peel off on the underside before cut and weeding this is why there may seem to be 2 layers, also the cutting force needs to be increased compared to standard colour vinyl. Hope that helps

Thanks Redmapj, that worked. I was reluctant to remove anything just in case. I just need to tweak the cutting thickness on the silhouette to get it perfect. :)

glittered foil films are harsh on your blades, you might want to keep 1 specially for it as it may spoil regular film cuts quickly
