Right - where do I start. It was our Anniversary yesterday so we decided to go for a nice meal, a few drinks and then the cinema, my turn to pick the film. It was a toss up between Inception, Sourcerers Apprentice and Knight and Day, I picked Inception. I did tell Andrea that I thought it might be a little like the Matrix, which she didn't like, but she said she wasn't bothered aslong as we got to watch a film.
Well - i'll never get that £20.00 back, or the 2.5 hours of my life - what a heap of absolute drival. The effects were stunning, I have to admit, but the storyline was so complex after about 40 minutes people were leaving in their droves.

After an hour they had to remind the audience what the whole thing was about.
It might be me, and just not my type of film, but I was sooo glad when my wife nudged me to wake me up at the end of the film

I heard a review that mentioned the film was hard to follow..but people walking out! blimey, that doesn't happen all too often
I sat and started to watch Year One the other day, despite my thoughts regarding Jack Black. I managed to get it switched off before wasting a similar amount of time and went to bed.
We really must put film reviews up more regularly to avoid us having to sit through such rubbish shouldn't we?!

You know what - me and the missis went to see inception last week as we had a night off (kids round nanny's!).
Anyway, the missis 'suggested' Inception - great I thought, I had been wanting to see it ............. BUT, the missis get's lost watching Ben 10 with the kids - never mind I thought, I'll not tell her!
So, as John said - 2 and a half hours for the film and the missis didn't move .......... or talk! I seriously thought she had fallen asleep, or she was too embarrassed to ask me something as she had seen others doing it and got a 'shussh' from the fat guy with the popcorn.
Anyway, film finished and she starts telling me how good it was and really disecting the whole film! I asked if she followed it alright and she said 'err YEAH!'.
I must admit that I have told others about it and got the same response that I would offering a fishfinger covered in marmite - some love it, some hated it!
Personally, I thought it was a fantastic film - mega story, mega effects, great acting and a very good ending that me and the missis have talked about for days afterwards!
But, as they say - that's only one (or two) peoples opinion, and you should really see for yourself.
We are going to see 'SALT' next week with Angelena Tomb Raider in it - the missis suggested that as well .............. BONUS!

I know what you mean - some people will love it, and some people will like - eh, marmite

Salt looks really good though!
Watched A Team at home and wasn't looking forward to it - turned out watchable and i think would be cracking on the big screen. Not sure what people will make of it if they havn't seen A Team 1st time round.

not sure I'll comment as we'll 'both' be showing our ages then!
