Hi I'm getting a bit stressed out here lol. Hoping someone can help me before I toss it all out the window :P I've been trying to put vinyl wording on my daughters chair but it refuses to stick!! The chair is a small plastic one from Ikea and has a smooth but slight bumpy effect if you know what I mean. I've used normal sign vinyl that came with my Cameo plus tried several types from MDP but none are transferring onto the chair without great effort and even when I manage to get hem on they are so easily peeled away, had my 2 year old test this out for me haha. Thanks in advance :D

Always a problem when trying to stick to a surface like this, the glue is just sticking to the high spots of the surface not provide full contact adhesion, have you thought about making a stencil out of the vinyl and spraying or painting it instead?

I come across difficult surfaces sometimes and apart from thorough cleaning, (I use meths) I use a hairdryer to warm up the surface and also the sticker once the application tape is removed. Heating will make the vinyl softer and easier to push into the surface, it will also make the adhesive bite quicker. Generally the higher the grade of vinyl the thinner it is. (laminated wrapping vinyl as exception)
