Hi, I messed up on some glass coasters and was just wondering if it looks like I did not apply enough pressure.

I'm a bit wary about putting to much pressure on with it being glass.

I also put 4 on the press at the same time, is it advisable to do them one by one.

it looks more like they have not got enough temperature or time.

The supplier for these states 190 C for 160 sec (medium pressure) and BMS state 190 C for 120 sec (medium pressure)

I did these for 160 sec and don't really fancy messing the replacements up because it has now eaten my profit :(

I know it's all a learning curve and was just wondering if anyone else had printed these with success and what their settings were.

We put as many in the press as we can (to make them economical to print) which for us is 12 coasters on a PressMech
We use a temperature of 200 degrees C, and have them in for 240 seconds, with a firm pressure - they are tempered/toughened glass and I've never had one break in the press, rarely break at all even when dropping them on the cold cobbles of Greenwich Market in London!

E2A - this is with the paper transfers on the bed of the press, facing up, with the printable side of the coaster facing down onto it - so you are heating through the glass, rather than heating the paper/ink directly.

Also, using InkTec Sublinova, results for different inks may vary.

That seemed to work better but some of the paper stuck to the glass, maybe I had the pressure to firm.

I did it printable side up.

Do it printable side down ... we use semi adhesive sublimation paper and don't have problems with the paper sticking to the coasters.
