Hi Guys

I have been playing a bit more with the mini vac machine today, this time using film on phone cases.

What I am finding is that after 100 seconds (ish) the machine loses its vacuum due to the film splitting. Is this supposed to happen or what am I doing wrong?
Times I am currently testing with are 360 seconds including 20 seconds pre heat. 90 degrees for 20 seconds and then 180 for the remainder.
Blanks are subli blanks, film is gold film from BMS printed using Sawgrass inks.

same problem as I have!
No matter what temp or pre heat i try, my film brake and machine is loosing vacuum :/
so if anyone know what, when and why then I am here to listen your solution...

my only solution I found is to use film WITH silicon. this way silicon holds film in place even if its split :)
so it is working kind off...

Same problem for me.

I think the problem is the surface. The film stretches itself too much because of the height difference between the lower part of the tray and the sublimating surface. That's why no matter the temperature and preheat time is, the film will always break.
Used it with silicon also, used to make a small hole in in film in order to vacuum the silicon.

Last solution i've tried, cutting the film and taping the film as we do with the paper. Then just start sublimating with silicon cover. The film wraps the case very well, but i get bubbles everywhere while using the film. No matter the temperature. Cases came out totally messed.
