Not counting oven wraps, which in my case go to about 8mm from the handle....
Which mug press will sublimate closest to the mugs handle.
I believe presses like the HF2200 will only go to about 15mm of the handle.

Depends also on the type of mug. The 11oz mug won't get as close to the handle as the European mug for instance as they are slightly different overall diameters (chunkier 11oz).

My most popular mug is 90mm tall by 80mm diameter.

I see that Adkins recommends 190mm as the max which makes it 25mm each side away from the handle on a standard 8cm mug.

I know you do not want to hear this as its about ovens, but I swapped to over to ovens because I can print as close as 5mm from the handle.

I've always used ovens up to now and decided to look to see if any press could print as close but not found one yet.
You beat me by 3mm I only go to about 8mm as if I'm in a hurry the clamp is not always tight on the edge and sometimes I get a bit of fade where the pressure is off a bit too close to the handle.
I would only use a press if I could find one that could get to 10mm 100% of the time.

What ovens are you using?
How many clamps/wraps do you have?
Do you have one load in the oven, while you prep the next?
How many can you produce per hour/day

Cheapo small counter top fan ovens (replaced thermostats with a digital ones)
About 200 green wraps.
32 at a time for 11 minutes while preparing the next batch.
On average 3 batches an hour per oven.

How many clamps/wraps do you have?
You need as many as possible as they need time to cool after printing (otherwise you burn your fingers!!!)
Afermo has pretty much answered the rest, only thing to add is I find it easier....

No need to change machine or curse when a blanket fails at 30/60 quid a squirt either and the oven can take any shape/mix at the same time. Not counting bone china as being thinner they would over cook at 11 mins being thinner and heating up quicker, don't seem to get many orders for them.
