Hi,

Could someone please tell how you change the background template colour from white to any other colour on Photoshop.

I've tried but i can't unlock the white .

Thanks in advance,

Jason.

Hi Jason

For a new document - set the colour on the "new" panel - where size, resolution, etc. is set.

On an existing document - select the background layer, set foreground colour to the colour you want, then use "paintbucket" option to fill the background layer.

Also....

Edit/Fill (or Shift+F5) useful quick selection of black, white, 50% grey and colour charts.

And...

Double click on blank section of layer to bring up the layer properties, then colour overlay and select colour.
