I think this easter I want to sell my mugs with an egg on top.. anyone know chocolate egg suppliers (11ox mug size)?

I would have thought they'd be 99p or £1 at most supermarkets.

one thing I've learned about supermarkets are they don't cope well with some guy buying loads of the same thing just as you think you can just go and get more they sell out and don't restock quickly

Like every kebab shop buying up all the pitta bread in supermarkets. I saw them filling a Waitrose trolley full of pittas and my local Tesco is always out of stock.

Lidl and Aldi might so some cheap eggs, you won't get cheaper than the supermarkets.

Wouldn't you need to register with the environmental health department of your local council as you would now be selling food. Seems like to much of a pain unless your going to be getting a awful lot of orders from it or are selling in bulk.

as with all legal questions I can't seem to find a straight forward answer but as I wouldn't be making food items, just reselling pre-packaged food that may not be required.

This could be true, but if you travelled by boat or plane to another part of the UK, you can't even bring in a sealed packet of bacon from a UK supermarket. Something which seems logical or OK, is not unfortunately.

You could be preparing those easter egg mugs in a cow shed splattered with E.coli, so your environment still needs to be inspected.

you know about my e.coli production facility?

surely the chances of it getting bashed on route to the customer and the possible fall out from that, would negate any possible gain over easter, put mini eggs inside, but i would not have anything protruding that is fragile like the eggs are

I was thinking more for events than posting, online I had already thought some sort of pound shop easter themed candy
