To many building a website can seem a bit daunting but some while ago I started using wysiwyg web builder from www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com. It is very easy to use and my own site was built with it along with many customers' sites as well. You can even build your own shop with it with paypal payment. Good support via the forum - loads of YouTube videos. A gift at $49.95

Wordpress with Woo commerce and a professional looking theme for £38 on two of my sites. Building a new one as I type. Simple, professional and free! Just wish I didn't have so many products.

Yes I looked at Wordpress, it comes as a plugin to my hosting - I just didn't 'get it' when I tried to use it and I wanted something which gave me a bit more freedon with design. I've seen some great sites built with it and other CMS like Drupal and Joomla, just not my cup of teas.
