I finally seem to have the timing right on my 3d vacuum heat press for plates, but I seem to be getting marks where the tape has been to hold the image on.

Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this please?

Its not the tape leaving marks but the rest of the plate effectively being printed. Many people have the same problem with mugs. I would say you need to leave more white paper around the design and cover the whole of the plate.

Thanks Giraffe, Paul ive been doing one at a time in big 3d machine both ovens on for 9 mins, I've also been putting a layer of grease proof paper on top to stop the silicon getting ink on it and transferring to the next plate.

I set it at 190, always goes 10 above so I start the timing at 195.

I had the same problem with mugs. Turned out to be some excess gas left on the silicon wrap that you couldn't see that was them sublimating on to the next mug.
Cured it with a good half hour in the oven with the vacuum on and a scrub with boiling water.
