is your time with paper or foil?

hi bud.....mods were done by friend and myself, mostly him... re:motherboard & taking some bits OUT/OFF the machine.....all times n temps are on xpress papers or sublimagic papers.
if i use the silver film, those times can come down yet again believe it or not, but i cant get the film to sit right on the phone cases, even with cutting it, its a PITA....
the paper i got down to perfection now, incl all four corners ;-)...
but they are so easy to strip right down and build again if anything goes wrong....

remember, ANY alterations to machine, doing so will knacker any warranty you have with supplier...we thought ours were knackered anyway so thought, WTH !...either it will sort it, or they go in the bin...simples

no they aint necessary, only if you wish to print/cook faster time......i find it most useful with large run of cases on, as these little things only do one case at a time, which again, as i am finding, is a right royal PITA ...
since it quite tonight, i,m off to find my vid camera and a mug, or case to show you ;-).

would be lovely to see it!I just can't understand one thing...
Whats the difference if I set it to same time and temp as you?
surely my machine will give same temp as yours after mods? or you talking more about fan speed etc?

Just to mention I got mine yesterday. Used wraps and 360s at 190c for one cup. Colours great etc. Only problem I am having is I'm using BMS European mugs. The wraps are for 11oz mugs and don't seem to apply enough pressure. But it does work. BMS say the wraps do work on these mugs and are investigating lol

Did the same, 11oz wrap on 10oz mug, appeared to be tight enough. Mine was a little blurred but I think I overcooked it if you're saying 360 secs is fine :-) My wrap also has a split in it that I just taped over! lol.

Where's best (ok, cheapest) place to get wraps at the moment?
