but how can they use the SAME machine with 2 supposedly different inks ? - like i said earlier justin, cross contamination must come into play here no ?

Again, not the case. I personally use paper to demo 3D machines, but on the more commercial presses then film is often used. The standard Sawgrass inks in the SG3110 and the Epson 7890 print onto film (single A4, A3, roll) and sublimate in the commercial 3D machines without an issue and at low temps of 135-140.

have to say, this is all way above my head... however I am trying to understand.
Are you saying that you can sublimate at 140 degrees using sawgrass inks, or is this only in certain 3d machines?
Reason I ask is because I am mid way through a run of 1000 hi-vis bomber jackets that I am having to transfer instead of sublimate due to the stitching melting at the standard 180 degrees of sublimation.

They've put starter pack together for phone cases or mugs for example, prices for these seem to be $1000-$2000. They haven't detailed exactly what's in these packs, I'd expect a good selection of jigs, cooler, cases etc. Will try and get a break down.
Individual prices for moulds are around $50-$80, film is $60 for 50 sheets, spares (pump etc.) don't seem too bad.
