Re: FESPA 2013 London June 25-29
nowhere near enough time there today, esp when the people you want to see have others with them, so timing is critical, in nipping back when they have a free slot.
For those in need of a heat press - take cash on Saturday, one of the chinese stands offered for us to buy the equipment on saturday within 10 mins of us being at the show !!
if you get any spare time, watching the vehicle wrapping champs will have your eyes popping out, what those guys and girls can do and how each of them approach it in a slightly different way is amazing.
still not so sure about £8,999+vat for a DTG, esp with the daily maintenance that's required as we work away from home so much, but we have plenty of food for thought -
The sheer joy of working some of those pneumatic presses .... now that would be worth taking cash on saturday for, but the one company drove from Italy so i expect they will be happy to take them home, but i can see what my next bit of money will be spent on

I'm sure that will be the case for us as well. Heat press, 3d vacuum machine, mug press and more. It would be easier to let it go cheap on the day rather than pallet it up to send back to the warehousemrs maggot;72963 wrote:

Thanks Laura, on the road now hope to be there shortly so will pop along and take a look. They had a machine which was about 10k I believe so we are wondering if the price is reduced or is it a different model.
still a lot of money and still think it wouldn't attract me to buy at that price. What would be though .... 6k maybe.

It is a very different type of show, totally geered to the big trade producer instead of the biz sized like mine who typically work witht he end user.
There was rumour about a printebale film that you stick around a mug and microwave to shrink fit..... anyone see it?
Also, a DTG machine rated at over 900 garments an hour (from austria ? ) - amiming to hit the Kornet market.
World record attempt friday at 2pm for most T's printed in 1 hour by 1 man, - it is a noisy beast, so avoid 2-3 if you can.
Docklands is a nice place to visit, but many complaints about cost to attend and exhibit, no hotels coz of tennis etc.
enjoy
