You need to largely ignore the print on the paper as the colours react under heat. As Paul says, even with the profile that won't change. The pre-heated inks are very "light" or "dull" or "washed-out" if you prefer. Yellow is a particular example that almost doesn't seem to be on the paper at all - but that doesn't stop it from being vibrant when printed. And yellow is a primary component of green, so your green will be affected by the apparent (but not really) weak yellow.

To save wasting mousemats, print your designs at a quarter of the size and heat-press it to one corner of the mousemat. That way you can see the result of the print and use the mousemat four times over. I do that often (even on coasters!) - it's great for comparing tweaked designs.

what i,m gonna do when paul gets my profile sorted....saying that - the mugs are coming out the best of everything lol

very relistic colours on them......and if you read back some of my posts jonathan - i had to cook anything used on the swing away press for double the recommended time to get rich colours ( same as yourself bud ) - still not perfect, but not washed out looking...apart from green lol....might just try that irish one tomorrow....just to see

Sorry for dragging up a old post, but ive sat here read 7 pages and then no photo with the correct profile, talk about cliff hanger.
