You need to largely ignore the print on the paper as the colours react under heat. As Paul says, even with the profile that won't change. The pre-heated inks are very "light" or "dull" or "washed-out" if you prefer. Yellow is a particular example that almost doesn't seem to be on the paper at all - but that doesn't stop it from being vibrant when printed. And yellow is a primary component of green, so your green will be affected by the apparent (but not really) weak yellow.bigj2552;45688 wrote:i did print them onto paper(tru-pix) paul - totally washed out colours.....just didnt think it worth wasting mats
To save wasting mousemats, print your designs at a quarter of the size and heat-press it to one corner of the mousemat. That way you can see the result of the print and use the mousemat four times over. I do that often (even on coasters!) - it's great for comparing tweaked designs.
