After 3 weeks held up with British Customs I'm glad to say that my Neoflex system has finally arrived :)

All very solidly packed.

Just a few of the boxes

Before unpacking I did an unusual thing for me - I thoroughly read the build instruction :) and had a good night's sleep.

I did plan on building the Neoflex system in the sunshine on the pato but, the good ole British summer let me down - we've had torrential rain all day. So I took over the conservatory, a bit cramped with all the other printing equipment but it was okay.

The process of assembling the base is quite straightforward, follow the instructions and you'll be okay. The one thing that's very evident is the good strength of the assembled base.

More later - when I can find someone strong enough to help me lift it on :)

Hi Tony

Most of the latest DTG printers are based on Epson printers & printheads. They are heavilly modified to suit DTG.

As DTG inks are thicker than the usual inks the Epson printheads were designed for, there's a strict maintenance regime to ensure the printhead doesn't get clogged up.

I haven't even loaded the inks yet as things have just been so hectic in work! This weekend should see the first printed shirts :)

It's another uphil climb on the old learning curve but here's one we printed earlier and Angie 'blinged it up' with a couple of rhinestones.
