I meant to PM that rather than post it here

oops. Oh well, not the first time I made the mistake.
Got me wondering even more now. I know there are one or two bigger printers that come here very occasionally.

the VAT bit confuses me, as you are not registered you have to pay it on the components if you were printing it yourself, so if its on an order like Listawoods, then i cant see the difference ? - obviously it will be slightly more, as its on the completed article rather than the components. the main difference is - the company you are selling them to will not be able to recover it

I struggle to see this job worthwhile......
Each press can do about 100 mugs per standard work day.
If you get blank mugs for 70p that us 84p Inc vat so mug and paper and ink isclose to £1
If you sell for £1.50 plus vat then you earn about £50 per mug press per day of production.
Maybe you can run two or three presses?
You rooms full of heavy boxes full or mugs.
The elements will burn out about every 1000 mugs costing £50 ish to replace.
You say you are at the start of a new business and want to work hard, but it just doesn't seem very smart to me.
What if they pay late or fail to pay?
I think you should spend the timelooking for profit instead of volume.
I think you

I said in an earlier post that i was outsourcing the order. This means i dont have to do anything apart from broker the deal. Ill spend very little time and i will make a tidy profit if i get the order. Sublimating these myself isnt an option now as ive obtained a very competitive quote from a supplier for the finished article

Hmmm, if it was a lot cheaper, maybe the other person is having them screen printed as opposed to sub'd?
