Newbie question about pricing - and prices on ebay.

I guess I took the following too literally from the BMS website then: "These mugs are coated in the RN sublimation coating from the US". Wherever they come from they are certainly the best by far and we have tried quite a few different coatings. Olly

Remember that the sublimation coating and the actual ceramic mug are essentially two different products, not all mugs are made and coated in the same factory/by the same company. It is quite common for a ceramics manufacturer to produce raw mugs, and then another company buy those in and coat them to resell as sublimation mugs. At the cheaper end of the market this explains inconsistencies of size between batches, as they will buy in whoever can supply the cheapest at the time for coating and resale.
