Hi Justin,

Just curious, do you use the low temperature sublimation ink for this machine? Or does it still work fine with regular sublimation ink?

Thanks!

No need for different inks, the Ricoh are fine for this :-)

I was just wondering if you had any photos of finished products yet. Even if they are not up to sale standard I think it would be interesting to see your results so far.

OK, apologies for this taking so long. Attached is a quick video showing a case 'hot off the press' so to speak :-)

As you can see, this needs a little work to perfect around the edges but that will come with different times/cases etc. it's wrapped around no problem at all and image is clear other than the further most edge.

First machine is now spoken for but I have a second now ready to go (PM for details) I didn't want to sell until I'd tested it thoroughly.

I've changed out the main circuit board and vacuum pump in my own machine just as an exercise and can confirm both can be done in around 5 minutes very easily :-)

Have you ever done vacuum printing before Justin? Or is this a new venture for you. I have said that these appeals to me before but am still a bit unsure of their ease of use. I am following this thread with interest.

Just a little on my larger machine but not much at all. This is my first time working with film. The process was very easy tonight, now I'm getting everything set up right anyway!
