How many big sellers can avoid 5 defects in a month never mind a 3 month period?

I had a customer buy three tshirts recently. But wanted to return two of them because he was unsure of the size (despite there being a complete diagramatical breakdown of sizes on the eBay listing), so he bought all three (S, M & L) just so he could be sure he got the right size. By eBay policy I had to accept the returns, even though its a bit galling to say the least but when he wanted to return the items, he opened a case - so by the rules that's not an automatic default. So the customer is at fault for buying three items so he could get the right size, and even though I accepted the items back, I would've gained a "defect" even though he left 5 stars for everything?

you should know as well as i do - the BIG sellers have a totally different set or rules on ebay than us mere mortals selling 1/4 of what they sell..
ebay will ALWAYS bend over backwards to keep the bigger retail outlets happy no matter what....

My first one was 1% the second email i got was 0.72%, as long as it stays below 2% thats still top rated, and above 5% is below standard.

BUT if you sell 400 or more items in a 3 month period then you will be reviewed on a 3 month basis.

If less than 400 a month then a yearly basis, going back to august 2013. but will be protected until jan 2015.

Also news released today is that private sellers are now loosing 99p listings and getting 20 free anyprice listings a month and their shop is going down to 100 a month free listing instead of 200 like buisinesss, but their FVF will only b 8% instead of our 10 or 11%.
