There was another company at P&P that had a new poly shirt that I thought was good but can't remember details. Brand might have been Sol..... something or other. The display had the champagne bar on it...... Which might be the reason why I cannot remember the name! Their shirt I prefered to Gildan and was cheaper still.

Yes I remember them, by the time I got anywhere near them there was nothing left!!! Now I know where it all went. Mind you even I can't remember their name.

Pen Carrie states it sells the SOL brand, as I have not purchased from PC for a couple of years I can not check if they stock this particular garment.

Well today i was able to get a cutter package for doing the vinyl prints. I decided to get a cheap cutter for now instead of getting the roland simply because i want to get used to doing vinyl first. When i am happy with things i will get a printer cutter system rather than have it all seperate. I am still looking at large format printers and also a flat bed heat press system, i have found a company selling fully serviced and refurbed units that will allow full face printing for my designs.

I picked up an mh721 cutter in the end simply because for doing something new and seeing if it works out, it wasnt going to break the bank and be a massive waste of money. I also got a deal on a load of extra blades, transfer tape ,squeege's, vinyl for tshirts, and other bits and pieces. I have yet to figure out where the hell i am going to put the damn thing but we will get to that when it happens!.

So tonight its looking at all the setup videos and info vids on youtube, learn as much as i can before it arrives tomorrow!!

Been working on some fantastic new designs so i cant wait to see what they will look like using the dark transfer film/paper also. The software coming is signcut pro, but i have also got flexi cut coming with it too.

Decided to get some flip flops in and see what i could do with them. All looks good, however the template is wrong and needs re-doing ( sat doing it now for all sizes) there was not enough spacing on the template compared to the cutout and there was not enough bleed area either. So the press.. I decided to use my logo for these and keep it simple so i stretched the skull over the both flips and also the back ground, placed my logo in full at the heel area and did a press.So the image pressed very well, however after cooling the sides of the fabric lifted from the base, not good really. So i had to think how to solve this, looking underneath there is not much glue/bonding on the fabric as you would think. So i placed the flips back into the press on thier own with a sheet of teflon over them and repheated/pressed for another 15/20 seconds. As soon as i removed them i placed them face down on a cold surface with a flat weight on top to keep it down while it cooled.This seems to have done the trick and the edges have re bonded back down, however i will try them out over the next week and see how they last.here are the first test ones i did today.

With the flip flops I tend to keep darker designs or full colour as it stops them looking grubby to quick. Decent items to print though and using the full board that the flip flops come in, it then makes a good display item as well.

i would have used the full board andrew but the templates were way out and no where near what the cut outs were. I have to make new templates that have the correct distance and bleed area. I ended up having seperate prints for each flip

i got in one of the small 'v' neck tees from bms today and gave that a press with a new design, it came out well and its perfect for an A3 print, also did a new rear neck branding for a ladies tee as well. Both came out really nice, many thanks to BMS for the tees!

I wanted to see what a tee would look like without the brand tag and with a pressed brand in its place, today i picked out the @brand" tag and pressed a smaller one of my logos in there, it cam out really nice and also on the tee arm ends as well. I am wondering if it is possible to get the unbranded tees?
