New Lines for 2012
Re: New Lines for 2012
Steve, you never know mate. A few years ago I was given a few sales brochures for a car that was only produced for a short time in small numbers. I had a few contacts in the owners club & when word got out that I would be willing to sell them I had email & phone calls like never before. They were offering around £50 for each brochure & I finished up with £500 in my pocket. Also a few years ago I came across another sales brochure for a 1913 Hillman & have since found out it is the oldest Hillman sales brochure in the world. I showed it to an automobilia expert a couple of years ago he was nearly jumping up & down with joy as it has a couple of pictures of the car racing at Brooklands. He asked how much I thought the brochure was worth & I said around £150 & he said because of the pictures add another 0 on the end. I paid £4 for that sales brochure & it's staying in my collection.
