With all due respect the same way you accuse people of 'killing photgraphy' those of us who do full time printing could argue that those doing it as a hobby are killing our trade :)

you could in did :) But i am not trading on market, car boot or other show ;)
I had one mug on ebay in year time just to check if there would be some interest as I wanted to do it full time job. so I dont think I am competition to any one dave :) All I do is mugs for familly and friends. Also I do t-shirts on punkrock gigs for myself and friends when we going out :)

ps. I did not said "killing photography" I said killing the business. is like selling mugs on ebay for £1.99 :D

Nothing wrong with selling mugs at £1.99 if you sell enough of them. This is the thing, everyone has different ways of doing things. What's the difference in someone buying a single head mug press and A4 printer and setting up in sublimation compared to someone buying a mid level digital camera and offering a simplified photography option? Both take a certain amount of knowledge and skill. It's not easy to print a mug unless you have learnt the process and similar for taking a decent enough photo.
