It's advertised as "Printwear and Promotion Live!" - I never realised it was "Live
stock". I hope he doesn't - it's going to make a terrible mess in the aircraft.

I am planning to visit either Sunday or Monday. does anybody with experience know which day is likely to be busier? (I would probably come on the quieter day).
£16 is steep for parking, but it appears you can get it for £12 if you book in advance.

It's always a bit of a hike from the NEC car park to the halls anyway so this time I have done advanced booking here:
https://www.yourparkingspace.co.uk/loca ... koQAvD_BwE
It's the Holiday Inn Express car park and costs £4.50 and is a do-able walk away. Big saving and lots of online recommendations.
I always resented paying £12 but this year is a 33.33% increase which is crazy.
I'm going on the Monday as I am trying to avoid kids running around

Why do I need a kettle when my 'friends' will; ply me with quality shop bought coffee all day long?
Seriously, have you seen he price of supplying electricity top a stand? let alone the additional insurance required to run a kettle

Cant you make a small log fire in the corner? Cheaper that way and environmentally friendly (not).

When i'm in Birmingham I tend to stay at the Easy Hotel, City Centre. It's very basic but clean, friendly and comfortable....and cheap for city centre. Dead opposite the train station, hop on a train to NEC and it's a 5 minute journey. So much easier than staying near the NEC, better choice of food (and more importantly bars) So much more to do in the evening.

Haha, my stand is so small I'd have to sit on top of it!
Anyone visiting on the Sunday please pop along and collect any lost children that have accumulated.
