That time of yr...new printers

One of those days in the studio today, the main computer decided it wasn't going to boot up, so fire up the laptop, grab the back up external hard drive.....bugger, don't know what I have done but the backups aren't backed up!! All OK until six months ago...so no idea what I was actually doing when I thought I was backing up.
So don't have any of the newer designs backed up, nor the accounts, nor the profiles for the printers. Nothing like learning to check the hard way. So fire up the Ricoh with sawgrass inks and powerdriver, it throws a major maintenance wobbly choffs a load of ink, then says replace cyan.....Ahah I have one of those. Sorted. Managed to print a small commercial order,so something achieved. Drop the computer off and a local PC repair place so will see what they say.

Lesson....when doing backups, check that it is backing up!
