Right, the no.2 machine is off to the scrap heap, less print head !
Getting the printing section apart was perfectly straight forward, and once I'd cleaned the yellow ink from the buffer area, it was easy to see where the leak was coming from. So I removed the mylar)?) diaphragm from the yellow section, cleaned all thoroughly and tried using super glue as an adhesive.
While I couldn't shift it, the pressure of the ink supply blew it apart.
So failure then, but a lot learned. At least I can take the clogged cyan head off the other machine easily, and if I can't unclog it, I have a spare head to try.
