Would have thought shipping be quite costly with the weight.

Xpres just annoyed me so might look at getting some metal from these. Also hardboard coasters would be another if cost is right.

I had a look, Xpres may only be stopping the sale of single sheets and selling in 10 pack sheets instead.

I've exchanged a few emails with Longstar, they don't have a stockist in Europe for their 1.15 mm HD metal so maybe someone will stock the material.

That would make sense, I've had issues with single panels in the past, I'll drop them a line and find out.

Would this Longstar send samples?

Xpres have confirmed that the no longer sell individual Chromaluxe/MDF panels, just the 10 packs.

Longstar sent me a few samples (to Brazil..) but I had to pay in advance for DHL which was a bureaucratic pain in the b*m here in the tropics. I tested only the thinner ones that they had at the time and they were fine colour- and gloss-wise.

If you want an excellent Chromaluxe alternative and someone who actually has them in stock then try the HD Metal from TMT 8 sizes in packs of 10 and bigger sizes on request, brilliant super deep high gloss finish and a great price.

Great - Thanks!
Do you recommend them? My field is just sublimated photos, printed using Beaver paper and Ricoh printer, Sawgrass inks.
Will have to check prices vis-a-vis importing from the US, but good to know there are options.
Cheers
