Oh yes, after pressing a mug on a paper still left some inks on xpress paper, but still colors is very good.

There will always be some ink left on the paper, how much depends on the ink, the paper, what you're printing onto, the temperature used, time, amount of ink you ask the printer to lay down, .....

I'd just like to thank you for your suggestion of the Xpres paper - it arrived on Monday, it's fantastic! Colours are less pale now and there is no paper texture in the final result. Cheers!

...But the lines are back. Tried head cleaning and realignment, all to no avail. Any ideas folks?

... This is the problem with CISS, and I would advise to get the biggest available refillable carts available for your printer instead.

I'll try to see if I can pursue a refund or exchange for some refillable cartridges, since the CISS clearly doesn't work/is flawed.
