I don’t think it was ever a font! The person who designed the poster hand drew the slogan and copied a serif typeface which was then turned into a printing block to produce the poster and that’s why only about 250,000 posters were made and the bookshop owners had to get the poster reproduced which is why no one could find the true typeface in any font collection to get it to match only a very similar one as some letters matched but not all.
That’s why if you look at a picture of the original poster the reproduction poster’s font doesn’t match either.

Yeah I know there is a font called "Keep Calm" now as I have it as well what I was saying that it would be hard for him to claim to have the trademark on the font style because there never was one with it being hand drawn, so he can only of trademarked the slogan with maybe a certain type of Red background.

That's exactly my point, who can produce the same red and who has precisely the same typeface?
I have an original scan of the poster I got years ago, before that I got the closest modern typeface and modified it in Photoshop, played around with the spacing, it took ages but was very close and was useful for the parody slogans.
If trading standards come your way, point them to this information:
http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/tm/t-applyi ... tected.htm
"We are unable to register any sign as a trademark if it consists of or contains an emblem that has protection under an International agreement.
flags and other State emblems
official signs."
So you can't trademark the crown, someone else's font or the red. Unfortunately EU law overides UK law and they hadn't a clue what the poster was about.
Where is your site? Did KCCO Ltd complain and sent in Trading Standards?

Here in the states the word country girl is trade marked. It amazes me how they can get a patent on words.
