delete that selected layer by pressing del button. draw your circle on layer 0. should work.

lol. i can see it clearly now. you didi not followed step by step. u using wrong tool. you need to use second tool from the top.

You are right Paul. I used the wrong tool. I am getting great results. Kick me from behind method always works with me. Is there a way i can soften the edges of the circle so that it looks better on the plate? :D

I have to say you have outdone yourself Paul. I am a fully fledged member of the "i will follow any instructions to the letter". I followed your video and it became crystal clear what i was doing wrong. You have gone to a considerable amount of time and energy to get me unstuck. If you are ever in ireland give me a call. I do appreciate what you have done and you have a firm friend here in the land of the leprehcauns. I have taken delivery of the plates today and you video worked a treat. I like the idea of feathering the edge of the photograph before i sublimate it to the plate as you dont have to have it dead centre.
