Hi John, used Opencart so the structure is already there. I bought a better theme, it's then just a matter of getting to grips with how it all works and uploading your own data. I struggles a little at first but kept at it...now I love it, very very easy to use and update...not so easy to get it looking how you want though, when it looks good in your head and you can't get that onto the PC!

Mattie - looks great :)

Justin - looking very nice buddy :)

Question for both of you though as I'm currently working on an opecart store for something myself.

Is there an add-on mod for the cookie thing (I think all websites need a pop-up to say that cookies are used or something??)

Thanks Adam, there are mods available for cookies but you only need them if your using some kind of tracking software like google analytics to track and store personal data about vistors. If a customers places an order you don't need it as placing an order doesn't count

Website looks great. What File size/format have you used to upload the pictures? Every time I upload a picture on to our OC website the site squashes the pictures down and they look terrible unless you click the picture from the actual listing, tried adding them in many dimensions but always seem to get the same result.

Hi TJCanvas

Opencarts default max image size is 500PX x 500PX it will then shrink the image for category/product page automatically. Any image smaller than this will be stretched by opencart and therefore will pixelate image etc.

You can change the sizes in admin/settings

It's not pixalating the pictures it's squashing the Pictures down so there out of preportion. It doesn't seem to make a dofference what size I uploade them they always look the same on the product listing.
