i had smudging with my first batch of sub paper i got with my set up, i would let it dry then when applied to a mug it would smudge on the cup as i set it in place. The solution was very simple... the paper was really cheap crap, i bought a load of trupix paper and have never had an issue since, every print has been amazing, much clearer and more vibrant than the old paper ever did.

I just got a new a3 winter for sub printing and the first thing i got for it was a batch of trupix a3 paper.

SSP i think you have missed a bit of the write up here, Shaz has been pressing onto painted wood - nothing to do with mug printing

No it's not car paint it's a household paint.

Yes i understood that, i was reffering to the paper causing the smudging, not just to cups but to anything i was sublimating. I used the cups as an example, sorry i should have been more specific. ;)

What is it called and where do I get it from? I am like a dog with a bone cos it annoyed me not being able to make the gift for a friend so would like to get some for future gifts

Most diy stores or builders merchants /paint suppliers.

Probably marked on the can but check before you buy it.
