I have a brother DCP-117 before this and it was brilliant, had it for years then went on holiday came back and it just didnt work anymore, think it was the waste tank.
Then i went a bought this heap of junk. but as its only used for printing packing slips and not much else it will do.

thats my sub one just jammed now - and before logo comes on and says it cause of crap paper - tru pix sub paper :rolleyes:

UNBELIEVABLE - granted that's only the first ( and last ) time its broken down since new last yr
i,m really getting sick of these printers very, very quickly indeed...

is it just my bad luck here or what ?....i,m really beginning to wonder and that will be my sub ink thats in the tubes of this thing gone

guess where i am going tomorrow :rolleyes: pig sick of this - 100% totally !

No it`s not your bad luck, i have two A3 printers which have nozzles blocked and can`t clear them. So i went out and bought another one

just checked pc world in ayr - they got the epson work forces back in - no more brothers this time SICK SICK SICK of them

same as my two - 5910dw's :rolleyes: - if you read back some posts, i,m just BACK from pc world last week with my other non sub brother 5910, that will be the 3rd one to go back for paper jam in LESS than 1yr !
i was then looking for an epson workforce instead of this brother - they had none in stock...only the brother 6510dw....payed the difference and took it, cause i needed it for that nights work

i have the whatever happens warranty with the shop so not to bothered, its just i was in the middle of orders AGAIN, it decides to go.....you can actually here when its gonna go.....the first 2 sheets of sub paper went in with a little funny noise, not the usual smooth noises ( trust me you get to know every little noise these things make), i said, NO, surely not ? - loaded in my my next sub paper....creak, moan chug chug...DONT YOU DARE YOU PIECE OF.....ARGHHHHH - JAMMED - wheres my baseball bat - if it wasn't for the warranty, it would be in pieces by now

and i,m really starting to get a complex going into this shop with these printers when they break down....every time i ask a different guy - do you get these printers back often ?, no not at all sir:redface:, you must be unlucky...NO, YOU DONT SAY ?

here we go again...
