I tried to explain with a demo as best I could. If you have any other links (for educational purposes only) I would like to see them and then maybe I can demonstrate in a "safer" and more controlled manner.

If Justin, or the mods, are happy with fake Paypal sites on this forum, that's fair enough, re edit you post and put the links back in. No one else seems bothered, so its just me again!

Hahah... I didnt mean it like that at all. All Im trying to demonstrate is how simple it is to be conned into believing a mail can be real. I dont want to cause any animosity between us. How about I make one that uses this website?... that would be safer and I can then still show people what to look for?
p.s. as for "No one else seems bothered...." I think you may be mistaken...... Im sure I would be and all the others that have been hacked are bothered... just ask Dave.. (original post no.11)
And we or should I say "I" have gone way off topic.... sorry!

Arco. I am sure we all or most of us are aware how easy this is with only some little knowledge.
the educational bit should say how to NOT get fooled.

Thats what I did put in my post. I made it very clear that it was to show members what to look for and how NOT to get duped into believing its for real.

this was in post No.14.
if someone cant be bothered to read all posts would not know would they?? As i said, this kind of stuff should have separate treads with clear description in first post and tittle. also many aware signs saying that this is not rel paypal site, DO NOT PUT REAL DETAILS etc... and all this after contacting Justin to discuss if this kind of tread is realy needed/wanted on forum.

I do understand - you can do what you want on your own site, but don't link it to this forum.
also many aware signs saying that this is not rel paypal site, DO NOT PUT REAL DETAILS etc... and all this after contacting Justin to discuss if this kind of tread is realy needed/wanted on forum.
Paul, your not getting it either -
this should not be on the forum - screen grabs yes, but a link to a fake paypal site - you must be joking. Paypal would love to see that url.
