so i got my printer and my next question is regarding ink, printer came with brand new epson carts but after about ten draft quality prints ink on black has dropped 3/4 which is rediculous is it possible to buy durabrite inks or similar quality suitable for ciss?

You could try a pigmented ink but depending on the quality of the ink you may have issues with the ink on the transfers.

im also starting to wish id waited and got an a3 printer, when transfer printing in order to contour cut my liyu requires about an inch space from the edge to the registration marks otherwise the paper drops out of the cutter, you can image this reduces the size of image i am able to use somewhat

The sx235w comes with the smaller cartridges (fox)16ml , the apple 32ml ones are a lot bigger and last longer as double the ml but only tenner dearer.
