Brilliant effort, watching youtube vids really does help alot, the fact you also have an artistic eye also helps, she will be really pleased with it.

its best to train yourself to always press with something over, that way you are less likely to forget and ruin something, also if ever there is a stray bit of vinyl up the wrong way you wont get a sticky top plate

Not only a great end result but you were not afraid to cut out and weed some fairly complex initial flex designs. I often wish I had some ornate skills in design but I do not so have to rely on software and luck. I am sure you will have lots of fun making items hopefully to sell!

Thanks everyone...WDR.....I live my life with the thinking, 'if someone else can do it, then so can I'....believe me, it has put me in some bizarre situations but I feel if you never try you never know!!! I've also had my Craftrobo for about 2 years so I knew what it was capable of although 'weeding' was a new thing as it's always just been paper/card I'd used before.

Fantastic design and well done on the first attempt..

My favourite part of a vinyl job is weeding.. I tend to use it as a stress reliever.. with three children.. two dogs and the other half, it's nice to come into the office and weed lol..

I agree that with your skills.. you are definitely in a good position to do a lot of designing.. and vinyl graphics is another avenue :)
