Glad to see you have had such a good result Paul, what ink did you use for this print?
I notice some half tone like dots, was this intentional?
The bag, I have some of those thin cotton bags myself, was that something you had lying around and used for a test? If so have you printed on any thicker material?

All picture is create of halftones. On the bottom u can see dollar sign made of rhinestones.

Exposed with 500w flood light.
I got thos bags frome here an decided to use it for test and i like it. When i find some time Nd some good design then i will print some tee and record while iam doing it. :-)

@Paul and others - can anybody point me at a 'Dummies guide to screen printing', I really need to know how to make a screen (using the 1000w lamp in my kit and some stencil I imagine).

To expose screen you need to know what emmulsion you have. All of them are diferent. My is speedball diazo and with your lamp it would be exposed in 4,5 minutes if lamp distance from screen is 19 inches.

this may give you more idea ;)

PAul knows much more than I do, but when you say make a screen do you mean MAKE or EXPOSE?

I know nothing!! I have just about sussed out what goes where now from the pictures at the start of the thread. So say I wanted to print the word 'BABE' on a t-shirt using screen printing I have to create something that only has the word BABE open for ink to flow through onto the shirt (assume this is called a screen?) What I have no idea about is how to get the screen in the first place. I must try to spend some time on youtube etc I suppose.
