Rob, I think it looks really good as it is just so clean & simple. It will look better once you add more products to be honest but, hey Rome wasn't built in one day was it. Some of the top marketing experts have tried experminets with various websites which are nice clean & simple & others that have all the bells & whistles they could add on. They have all found that the ones that get the most sales & interest are the ones that are just nice clean & simple. Speaking from a personal point of view if I go onto a website that is playing music, has things that is flashing plus other similar things I soon leave without really looking.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely agree about the flashy websites with all the music and animations... I leave straight away too!

Who has music on there web site anyway ????......unless your advertising for a limo / partybus company or similar, all it does is cheese people off....i agree with Ian to m8..
As for animations.....to much just kills a site........but whats "to much" ??
One mans to much - can be another mans "ok"....
It really is down to your own personal pref's TBH....and a little bit of - " put yourself in your potential customers shoes"...."would i like to shop here" is what you got to ask yourself....but again....EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT bud.....
You will NEVER please everybody !...I learned that yrs ago lol

Might have to take some tips off of there for my own website. I think the music could really increase sales...

Believe it or not I have come across the odd website almost as bad as that one........lol. It was only the other week I was looking at one when this virtual woman popped up in the corner & she just wouldn't shut up. I was soon looking at another one belonging to one of their rivals.

only thing i got on my front home page are my slideshow banner at top....and a small ticker tape running along the top of my slideshow banner to inform customers of discounts & any offers ect i am running.....
i think thats an acceptable amount and not overkill :-)

The ticker tape is on the cat & product pages at top as well....just to keep reminding customers of discounts ect when they go to checkout

only thing i would say is why oh why advertise your trade section with no log in feature, and have prices on it, i can as i customer see i pay £7.95 for a phone case - great i will order one, oh hang on if i were a trade customer then they are only £2.05 that means he is making from me £5.90 - now i know thats not how we see it, we know there is the printing the equipment etc etc, but as a general member of the public !!!!!! have a trade section, and they either log in to view, or it has poa on it, but not prices
