To be honest I think a few of the suppliers could learn a lot from how BMS pack their mugs because, we never really know what how couriers handle them do we.

Laura, I did adjust the pressure slightly for these mugs but, just used the same kind of pressure I have always used.

Could it be a faulty thermostat, allowing the heat to go too high?

Jack, many thanks & you might be on the right track here. I've fitted a new blanket to my press which isn't dropping the tempreture when I put a mug in like the old blanket would do. I've now switched back to the old blanket & done a test print on an old mug & it's perfect.

Is it definitely the righ blanket for the mug press as the wrong wiring to the plug (Apparently different press manufacturers use different wiring setups), could bypass the thermostat, and if it is pressing the same mugs with your old blanket then it don't sound like a faulty batch of mugs.
