Sorry Steve I would have to kill you if I shared that with you.........lol.....just kidding mate.

There are a few different machines to be honest & also a few companies that supply the machines & all the components you need. It really is a matter of personal choice of what you go for. If you have a look on Ebay & just search for 'Badge Making Machines' quite a few will pop up to have a look at. A search on Google is well worth it too. That is how I did it to be honest. The one thing I did before deciding which one I wanted was to do a bit of research to see what size of badge people prefered & also what could sell well. I seemed to have got everything right for once which was good. One thing to watch out for is the circle cutters that come with some machines are not that good to line up with your image. I bought a hand cutter which is so much more accurate to use. You can pick up cutters on Ebay too but, top tip get the correct size one as just 1mm can make all the difference. If you see something that you might think will fit the bill PM before you buy & I will let you know what I think of it. Now where's my gun? :biggrin:

Thanks Ian for all the info. I had looked at some on E-bay before, think it came down to a UK company and a German one and I couldn't decide which size to go for and procrastinated What do you mean by a hand cutter? I've all sorts of circle lever punches but thought the blades might be better as they mangle some types of paper.

These are the type of hand cutters I mean http://www.intaprintuk.com/EZ/intaprint ... and_Cutter You have to be so careful on the size they cut though. My badge machine will only take 49mm discs, I did try a 50mm one but that extra 1mm meant they would not fit into the machine. If you had something like a Craft Robo then that would be just ideal to use.

i suppose if you had a little cutter it'd be easier than setting up the robo etc
altho i also suppose most ppl have it all set up ready to go all time they have proper houses with space unlike me on the boat who has to put everything away after i used it.

the robo lives in a sealed box in the bow area, so i have to remove cushions etc just to get access to that area and then pull out a few other boxes just to get at it lol

i really do envy ppl who live in a house sometimes rofl

trust me the only space i have is on the floor which is 2' x 6'
so my press sits on the floor and i try and put everything away in storage
