Re: For curiosity's sake only - how much would you charge for this ..... ?
we have just started doing t shirts for customers in vinyl, we work from a medium size workshop at home and i am just wandering which vinyl people use,and the cost per metre we use hot flex from mdp supplies and have found this very good. cost is a touch over £5 per metre plus the ugly vat, the t shirts we done were for my sons freinds stag do and we charged £10 per shirt with 1 colour design

We will all have different pricing, due to our overheads, but basic costs for shirts and flex including delivery charges and vat, would be approx £50.00 (this doesn't include any overheads) Take off £10.00 to cover overheads and I'd say that Adam made approx £30.00 on this order - do this every hour - 5 days a week - and I'd be happy.

Adam, if you're happy with the price and made a decent profit, if the customer's happy too, job done.
If you're quoting and losing a few, your pricing is right.

Adam, only just back from a weekends work at a show, and i would have priced them at £15 also, i like the idea of the money off the mugs.
we price at between £10 and £15 a shirt retail. we also do some for charity resell (they sell them on their site i make and post them) i charge between £5.50 and £7 + £2 postage - up to a 2XL they sell them online for between £10.00 and £15 depending on the charity - they get no wastage - most have made them up before for an event and had t's left over. with a couple of them they send me over a spreadsheet on a weekly (long before the event) then daily sheet of whats been ordered, i make them and post them out within 48hrs of the spreadsheet, they then send me the payments over once the orders have gone out.
I am a sole trader, with business overheads, i have a workshop at home as well, and van etc
