stamp the bottom of mugs etc
Re: stamp the bottom of mugs etc
I use the water transfer style. Very easy, print, cut to size, apply then bake in oven to cure. Gives a nice looking clear result.
Re: stamp the bottom of mugs etc
Thanks for the welcome Andrew. I'm a relative newbie, only been into sublimation since last September, concentrated on embroidery before that.
I wonder if you could sublimate onto the stickers I found? Might make them last a bit longer, if the glue holds out.

Hiya, the lables you linked to are for laser printing, not sublimation. For sublimation they need to have a high polyester content/coating on them
Re: stamp the bottom of mugs etc
I thought that the labels I linked to were polyester
Thier description states “Circular Laser Labels in Gloss White Polyester, marine quality adhesive (BS5609)”
I might get some and give them a go.

Oops, my apologies, missed that bit, sorry.
If you do order some, would you let us know how you get on with them?

Re: stamp the bottom of mugs etc
I would think the adhesive would be the problematic part on the polyester stickers. This wouldn't take well to the heat process I would think.
