We purchased a new PC and installed Affinity Photo as it's currently on offer and didn't want to splash out on another Photoshop.
Ideally we would prefer to run through RIP too but haven't had the time to have a proper look into this yet.

On the issue of print speed. How long does it take to run a full coverage A3+ sheet? I've had 9-10 minutes quoted to me which seems bonkers!

How much slower than the Sawgrass are you finding it, material?

We haven't timed it exactly as we tend to just set it printing and get on with other work but I would say it's getting on for half the speed of the Sawgrass.
That said it is printing 6 colours and at a much higher resolution so I guess it depends on what your final product is.
It maybe something like the Epson SureColour SC-F500 is more suitable as it's faster but the trade off is it's 4 colour and around 3 times the price.

OK so I've just timed an A4 sheet with 2 coasters on and it took 3:10 to print from the moment it finished processing file and took paper into printer.
I hope this helps.

Many thanks. That is actually very helpful. I just did the same on my SG400 (A4 size, couple of mugs) it took 30 seconds on High Quality. Blimey, that's a stark difference.
